FREE Level 2 Understanding Autism Online Course

Join our online course with access to a skilled tutor for support when needed. 

Our fully-funded Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism is for learners who want to know more about autism and how to help people with autism live healthy and fulfilled lives.  

You'll learn how to support people in a person-centred way, use positive communication methods, and encourage positive behaviour.

  • Introduction to autism. 
  • Using a person-centred approach to support individuals with autism. 
  • Communication and Social Interaction in Individuals with Autism. 
  • Sensory Processing, Perception and Cognition in Individuals with Autism. 
  • Supporting Positive Behaviour in Individuals with Autism.
  • Supporting Individuals with Autism to Live Healthy and Fulfilled Lives. 

What can I do next?   

By completing this qualification, our aim is to help you progress in various job roles across different sectors were understanding autism and supporting individuals with autism is important.  

After completing this qualification, you will access a number of new opportunities:   

  • Apply for a number of entry level roles in healthcare, social care, education and training or nursing.  
  • Apply for a level 3 apprenticeship.  
  • Access further education courses.

Have you lived in the UK for 3 years?

If the answer is yes you might be able to complete our courses. To be eligible you must also meet the following criteria:

  • I currently live in England
  • I was aged 19 or over on 31st August 2023
  • I have lived in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years*
  • I am actively seeking employment OR earning below £25,000 annually**
