Our Level 1 Employability qualification is designed to prepare you for work and equipt you with the tools necessary to create a great application.

What can I do next?

Upon completion of your Level 1 Certificate you have a number of new opportunities:

Complete a Level 2 Functional Skills certificate
Use your new skills to write successful job applications
Apply for a Level 2 apprenticeship

If the answer is yes you might be able to complete our courses. To be eligible you must also meet the following criteria:

I currently live in England
I was aged 19 or over on 31st August 2023
I have lived in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years*
I am actively seeking employment OR earning below £25,000 annually**
